The Governor’s Office for New Americans (ONA) has the following programs where staff is dedicated to helping new and aspiring Americans participate fully in civic and economic life.
Nevada Initiative on Language Access (NILA)
Senate Bill 318 was created to improve access to government services, programs, and information for Nevadans with Limited English Proficiency (LEP).
Skilled Immigrant Integration Program (SIIP)
The Skilled Immigrant Integration Program (SIIP) mission is to help create and expand proven and promising approaches that support communities in developing immigrant and refugee workforce inclusion.
